Oh and ps

So the Cup of Jo blog I posted about the other day? Yeah, it totally worked and now I’m all obsessive over glamour magazine. Weird, I know. I do miss totally light magazine reading. So… go get this, because Miss VB look aaaa-mazing in this issue, which is good because my crush was starting to wane (I can’t believe I admitted it), and also because she represents tattooed wrists everywhere in such a lovely way. Aaannd her denim line is back in full effect, just saying.

Baby you can drive my car...

yes I’m gonna be a star.. Listening to the Beatles, thinking about the fate of miniskirtmurder.com. For now, a few more things I purchased.. compulsively, yes. Love it. Super skinny studded belt. Woo woo.

More stuff I want.. oooh actually I own now.

I have a wool one for winter, and now I’m prepared for summer. The sun is not my friend.

Is that not me as a sweater? Lovvvve.

Different, but I’m giving it a shot. For when my black skinny pants are operational again.

From urban. <3

Cuter in person, and the buttons work. Slouchy and black.. a must for me. This is the back view by the way.

Lots of new stuff, but I can’t find pictures of all of it. I’m wearing my hat right now, with no plans to take it off.

That was a lie.

I own these, and I love them. Even though I am trying to incorporate flats and kitten heels into my shoe diet (and my short self has been doing a damned good job of it), there are heels that still get me excited. In gray, though hard to tell from the picture.

sigh. Reminds me of the famous Gucci corset shoe, which is, of course, way more amazing and unavailable than these.

One more for tonight.

Some loose ends from my other posts. First, a calligrapher who does tattoos:

The names of this guy’s daughters.

Can I please just find this exact shirt in a black chiffon? okthxbye.

Making menswear totally cute. I want it all, including the headband.

Love the jeweled tie on this halter. And the pleats. Oh hell and the barely-there look of the top.

Love the shirt, and I’m sure there is someone out there who could pull off this outfit. The accessories.. questionable. But the clothes are gorgeous, in a not-my-thing kind of way.

Shopping trips.

So, in addition to my online window shopping of British sites like Asos and All Saints, I frequent a few Asian sites as well, like ogage and causeway mall. These sites are so awesome because the clothes are pictured in magazine layout-type spreads. From my collection of pictures, a few outfits that I have been dying to recreate for ages.

Without the necklace, but this makes a little polo look polished and cool, I think.

Love the top in the color on the left, but the star here is the navy skirt and camel belt. Even though I don’t really dress like this, there is something so nerdy/cool about classics like that. Or this:

Nerdy, no question. But I love it.

Ummmm say hello to this coat. Obsessed with both ways it is pictured.

I need to learn Korean and Japanese, because in addition to totally beautiful people and mysterious cultures and history, the clothes are a-mazing.

Polyvore.com

I have saved a bunch of sets from Polyvore, and lately, trying to clean off my computer, I have gotten rid of tons of them. There are some that I still cannot get rid of with work-ey clothes, like these:

That skirt is so damned cool, but still professional-ish.

Very British, indeed. The red with the purple is so unexpected. I like.

Minus the accessories, I am obsessed with this. Plus, I can totally identify with the crappy photoshopping. From afar, this is a basic blazer/pencil skirt combo, but up close, the details are so cute.

polyvore… can be totally problematic to my focus :)

New blog I'm followin'

I looove stumbling on a new blog that I know instantly I’ll read everyday. I read blogs about all kinds of things, like people starting little businesses, people getting married, travel, whatever, because I like people with voice, and it is fun to see what other people are up to. Anyhoo, today I came across this, and this:

with the phrase “be still my heart” and it was love. She has links to tons of amazing posts on other blogs, too. Like this one, which is celebrating Paris week. I have been obsessing about France for months now.

My fricking goodness (by Johnny Santo Domingo). Featuring this post. I muuust! do this when I am in Paris. Who knew? and the pictures, especially the second one, are amazing.

A little more: I literally just told my mother that this is all I want, because we know lots of people going through this engagement/wedding ring drama these days. Ummm… not the point people. And then I come across one in real life for only 80 bones (I realize glamour.com is not real life, but I mean not in my imagination like it was before I came across this). Love.

And, while we’re at it (this new blog is about weddings kind of, so bear with the wedding related posts) this, minus the men’s ties, is as close to perfect as I have ever seen. Seriously, every single photo is perfection.

Alright, even of the blogging about blogs that blog about blogs for tonight.

oooh one more thing: in a different color scheme, I am loving this J. Crew.

and this while I’m at it (sold out though.. probably appearing on ebay for $300 any moment):

omg. This is turning into the most ridiculous post ever, because I forgot to add this from the blog about Paris.

The writer asks if you can remember the sweetness and subtleties of a first trip abroad. Yes, and this photo captures that sooo well.

<3, from my pink cast to you.

SAG Awards.

I missed the actual show, but I came across these pictures that I like:

Diane Kruger is a goddess in this dress. Best dressed, definitely.

I have always thought Julianna Marguiles is one of the most beautiful people out there, and so I was happy to see that 1. she has resurfaced (and won an award!), and 2. is still representing sun-haters everywhere. She looks lovely in this blue.

Let’s just say that I want to be her: the hair, the face, the figure, the totally cute couple.

I love awards season!
